No. Drive & Listen is not live, because it uses pre-recorded driving videos. However, many locations include live local radio streams, so you can still listen in real time while watching the drive.
Drive & Listen works by carefully selecting high-quality city driving videos from major video platforms and pairing them with local radio stations that stream online. For a more realistic feel, you can adjust Car Speed (instead of simply changing video playback speed) and add Street Noise (rather than just unmuting the video). Combined with the live local radio stream, the street ambience creates an immersive drive-like experience, capturing what many people missed during the pandemic.
The original Drive & Listen website is available at driveandlisten.app (previously hosted at driveandlisten.herokuapp.com). Any other sites claiming to be “Drive & Listen” are unofficial copies and do not represent the original experience.
At the moment, we don’t have a mobile app, and there aren’t plans to launch one in the near future. However, you can add our website to your home screen as a shortcut, and it will work like an app for quick, full-screen access.
